I have tried out many cashback apps and have a few of my personal favorites. Most of these I have probably been using for over a year now, here are my top five cashback sites!
GetUpside- Gas Cashback
GetUpside is my most used cashback app. The main focus of GetUpside is cashback on gas. I specifically like this app for its ease of use. Here’s how you use it!
You have two options to claim your cashback by either connecting a credit card or scanning your receipt. When you arrive at a qualified gas station just make sure to press claim and that’s it!
You can save up to $0.25/gallon. When you sign up, your first cashback for gas will gain an additional $0.20/gallon off, so up to $0.45 off per gallon the first time when you use the app.
If you drive your car to work and need to fill up, then there’s really no reason you shouldn’t save extra money with GetUpside.
Besides gas cashback, they are also expanding to restaurant cashback and actually have some great cashback deals for restaurants too.
Rakuten – Online Shopping Cashback
Rakuten is a cashback app/site for online shopping. Rakuten is one of the two sites I use for cash back for online shopping.
If you have never used a cashback site for online shopping Rakuten should be the first to try out. I say this because of the insanely good sign up bonuses. If you are a new Rakuten user and spend at least $20 online using their cashback portal, they will give you a $20 cash bonus.
This basically means you can get something worth $20 for free.
Ibotta – Grocery Cashback
Ibotta is my favorite grocery cashback app to use. It has a nice interface, bonuses, probably the largest selection of items, and freebies!
The bonuses are great! I don’t see any other cashback app/site doing this. You can get extra cash rewards on top of your regular cashback. For example, currently, there is a bonus that requires you to redeem 15 in-store cashback offers. After completing this bonus you will get a $10 cash reward on top of your other cashback.
Free coffee was my favorite freebie I got on Ibotta! There are actually many products that you can get for free on Ibotta. They will have a stamp that says “free after cashback” on the app.
When you start, you can easily get $20 worth of free or almost free items. I say $20 because that is the minimum amount you need to withdraw from the app.
When starting, you can complete some simple “Welcome Bonuses” just by redeeming the free products.
Besides freebies, the abundance of products to choose from on Ibotta is great since it may be likely you already buy some anyway.
Fetch Rewards – Grocery Cashback
Fetch Rewards is another good grocery cashback app that I use. Fetch Rewards has many different offers than Ibotta.
If you do manage to find an offer, on two different apps, you can actually get double cashback.
The offers on Fetch Rewards are not tied to any specific store. This means you can scan any receipt, and as long as the item is there, it will work for cashback.
The cashback is good, it’s easy to upload receipts, and the to withdraw amounts is $5. They also give you a little bit of cashback not for specific items, but if you buy a specific brand. Sign up with the link below and get a $2 bonus after scanning your receipt!
Swagbucks – Online Shopping Cashback
Besides Rakuten, Swagbucks is my other preferred cashback site. I already use Swagbucks for it’s other features such as surveys and cashback just makes sense to use.
The cashback amount on Swagbucks is good and if I am making bigger purchases I will compare it with Rakuten, to see which one has a higher percentage of cashback.
Since, I already use Swagbucks, it is extra easy to withdraw my money. Swagbucks’s minimum is $3 Amazon gift card or $5 PayPal, whereas Rakuten’s minimum is $5.
Swagbucks has two sign up bonuses.
- When you spend at least $25 at a store featured in Swagbucks.com/shop you will get a 1000SB($10) bonus!
- When you earn at least 300SB($3) using Swagbucks, you get an additional 300SB($3).
