For me, there’s just something about being able to track the time on paper📜 that is so much more useful than having it on your phone or computer. Maybe it’s because the paper is always in front of me and I won’t forget about it, as I have with other productivity apps.
How to use the Pomodoro Technique 🍅 – Like a Pro
- First you set a digital timer ⏲for 25 minutes. During these 25 minutes, the goal is to have no distractions and be completely focused on your work. (I use timer website called pomofocus.com. I also set the break to automatically start)
- Once the 25 minutes is up ⏳and you are done working, you will get a 5 minute break. I use this break to stop looking at my computer screen and give my eyes a rest. I also used this break to stand up stretch get a drink of water, so for the next 25 minutes I can be completely ready to be focused on my work.
- Once you go through for intervals of 25-minute work sessions you have earned yourself a longer break of 15 minutes.😃(I honestly make this break-even longer sometimes because I go eat a full meal or do something else, but either way the Pomodoro method works in full effect for me)
Set Your Goals
Having goals is so important to have something to work towards. Now that I’ve learned coding and the high goal is to create my own website from scratch. that means all of the code is on my own. I made this site on WordPress, 2 years ago now and I’m glad I can still use it to upload useful files for you guys.
